Summary:

Day 1. Morning: Pick you up at hotel at 7:00 am, go straight to Yok Don NP., have breakfast and lunch on the way. Expectedly arrive at the park about 4:00 pm, check in guest house, do a birding around headquarters.

(other option is fly Sai Gon/Ban Me Thuot)

Overnight at Ban Don tourism area

Day 2.  Early morning: birding along Srepok river to find Mekong Wagtail, breakfast then cross Srepok river, go into the forest by riding elephant, camping, do birdwatching and mammal-watching also on elephant back.

Overnight in the forest

Day 3. All day birding, then go back headquarter.

Overnight at Ban Don tourism area

Day 4. Earling morning birding around Ban Don tourism area and Dak Min lake. Later in the morning drive back to Ho Chi Minh city from the park.

Bird highlights: Orange-necked Partridge, Germain's Peacock Pheasant, Siamese Fireback, Green Peafowl, Wreathed Hornbill, Lesser Adjutant, Woolly-necked Stork, Blue-rumped and Bar-bellied Pittas, Pale-headed and Black-and-buff Woodpeckers, Black-and-red, Banded, Dusky Broadbill, Blyth’s Frogmouth, Grey-faced Tit Babbler.

Number species expect to be seen:  120 spp.
